THE GIG
The Brand Presentation Lead is the key driver of our premium retail experience strategy in EMEA. Working across new and existing stores, they adapt and deliver Global product presentation training to upskill VMC’s, SM’s and RM’s. Through practical, hands-on VM visits, they will drive a consistent visual execution in our key cities of London, Paris, Berlin and Milan. They will personally lead the visual set-up of our new stores and SIS’s, ensuring they open to the highest visual standards whilst balancing commercial and brand objectives.
To succeed in this role, you will be a confident trainer and thrive seeing others develop. You will be passionate about retail and have an in-depth understanding of our customers and the premium consumer journey in our stores. You are an experienced Visual Merchandiser who always works with a strong attention to detail. Importantly, you will be keen to travel regularly across EMEA and develop your experience across different markets. This is a 12 month Fixed Term contract.
TRAINING
- In collaboration with the Global Brand Presentation Lead, you will localise Global training materials to suit EMEA market needs and reflect regional consumer insights
- You will lead the continuous development and enhancement of the EMEA visual merchandising (VM) training suite—building a robust library of digital content including presentations, Myagi modules, video tutorials, and hands-on in-store workshops to deliver best-in-class brand presentation training for our retail teams
- Working closely with Product and Merchandising teams, you will design and deliver an engaging bi-annual Seasonal Kick-Off event (e.g. Power Up for Peak!), designed to energise and inspire teams ahead of key trading periods
- Utilising the IWD Execute platform, you will provide feedback and coaching to stores following campaign launches
- You will be responsible for managing the brand presentation training budget, with strategic investments in high-quality video production and printed coaching materials to elevate in-store execution
VISUAL MERCHANDISING
- Spending approximately 60% of your time in the field, you will play a hands-on role in delivering premium product presentation across our key city store network
- You will take part in the execution of monthly campaign launches in London, including overnight installations, ensuring flawless rollouts that reflect our elevated brand positioning
- During our key seasonal product launches, you will also support the wholesale team with showroom presentation and visual set-ups, maintaining consistency across all channels
DTC EXPANSION
- You will oversee the visual planning process for all new openings and refits, ensuring designs, layouts and campaign touchpoints adhere to the product presentation guidelines
- On-site during set-up, you will guide teams through a best-practice approach to VM, ensuring a strong and consistent launch experience
- You will design and deliver a tailored VM training programme during set-up week to ensure store teams are fully equipped and confident
- You will create an opening presentation for all new sites to cascade with EMEA + relevant global teams
THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART
- You are an experienced VM with a minimum of 2 years in a full-time visual merchandising role
- You live in London and willing to travel regularly to stores
- You are a passionate coach and love to upskill people, you take pride in seeing others succeed
- You are a natural collaborator with the ability to partner and inspire various stakeholders
- You are a self-starter and not afraid to hit the ground running
- European language skills are a bonus but not essential
- You have experience attending or leading new store openings
- You are an excellent communicator who is strong at getting buy in to visual concepts across a variety of audiences
- You have strong IT skills including all Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop etc.)
- You thrive in changing environments. When the goal posts change you respond. You rarely get flustered and know how to roll with the punches.
