THE GIG
The Senior Treasury Analyst is critical to ensure Treasury activity operates in a streamlined and controlled manner whilst meeting the requirements of a growing company. Working closely with the rest of the Treasury team the role is responsible for effective daily cash management, liquidity reporting, controls adherence and a variety of other Treasury focused tasks.
As our Senior Treasury Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Cash and Liquidity Management: Overseeing daily cash processes including reporting, variance analysis, and short-term cash flow forecasting. Managing c.100 global bank accounts, ensuring effective currency funding, opening/closing, and smooth operations. Preparation of weekly liquidity reports for senior stakeholders.
- Payments and Banking Operations: Ensuring timely and accurate execution of manual payments (treasury, tax, payroll, ad hoc). Monitoring daily releases from banking platforms and follow up where required. Supporting payment queries from internal teams and maintaining relationships with external banking partners.
- Treasury Administration: Managing corporate card programmes, including account setup, credit limit adjustments, transaction monitoring, and KPI reporting. Supporting retail cash collections and providers, including scheduling, deposits, and investigations into variances.
- Controls and Compliance: Maintaining treasury controls, policies, and bank mandates. Confirming derivative and investment transactions, report counterparty credit exposures, and assist with KYC/AML processes. Contributing to process improvements and issue resolution.
- Projects and Policy Support: Assisting with guarantees, performance bonds, and treasury projects. Supporting policy and procedure refreshes, prepare purchase orders, and help manage external counterparties and quarterly reviews.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Support: Partnering with finance teams on bank reconciliations, postings, and reporting. Managing the Treasury mailbox, responding to queries and coordinating responses across the team.
THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART
Put simply, for this role the key things we’re looking for are:
- Practical experience with cash and bank account management (including banking portals).
- Strong analytical abilities, including experience in interrogating complex data.
- Relevant experience in a corporate treasury team or environment.
- A good understanding of key treasury concepts and ideas.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Knowledge of Microsoft D365 (ERP), cash flow forecasting tools or TMS systems would be an advantage.
